Apple company’s phones have always been a subject of attraction for many, intimacy for some and status for many. Although the iPhone is a subject of attraction, its prices seem to be higher than other phones in the market. But now the Apple company has reduced the prices of their iPhones. Which models have reduced prices?
The price reduction decision taken by Apple will be available on a few models. Generally MRP prices on Pro models are not reduced by the company. This year, however, the prices of Apple iPhone Pro models have been reduced. As a result, the prices of iPhones in this category have generally decreased by 3 to 4 percent. This saving is said to be around 5 to 6 thousand rupees.

It has been said by the company that the money to be paid for the iPhone Pro and Pro Max models has decreased. It includes iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models. The prices of these phones have been reduced by around Rs.300. On the other hand, the prices of phones in the iPhone SE category have been reduced by almost Rs.2300. Apart from this, the prices of other models in the Pro range have also been reduced to varying extents.

The iPhone 15 Pro model has received the biggest price cut. The iPhone Pro 128 GB model was earlier priced at Rs 1 lakh 34 thousand 900. Now this mobile is available for 1 lakh 29 thousand 800 rupees, according to a report given by Financial Express. Therefore, the price of this iPhone has reduced by Rs. 5 thousand 100. Apart from this, the previous price of iPhone 15 Pro Max was Rs 1 lakh 59 thousand 900. Now its price has come down to 1 lakh 54 thousand.

Pro model prices reduced for the first time!
Meanwhile, Apple is believed to have reduced the prices of its Pro range of iPhones for the first time. Usually, the company stops production of the old Pro models of the iPhone after the new Pro models are introduced in the market. At that time, the old Pro model iPhones are sold by the respective sellers with some discounts. But this time it has become a topic of discussion as the company has directly reduced the MRP for the first time.

The impact of the budget announcement?
This decision of Apple is said to be the result of the announcement made by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in this year’s budget. Nirmala Sitharaman announced reduction in customs duty on mobile phones from 20 percent to 15 percent. Apart from that, he has also announced to reduce customs duty on printed circuit boards for mobiles and mobile chargers.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, at present 18 percent GST and 22 percent customs duty is levied on smartphones imported into the country. Surcharge of 10 per cent on customs duty remains. The announcement in this year’s budget has now brought the total customs duty on imported mobile phones to 16.5 per cent (15 per cent customs duty and 1.5 per cent surcharge on 10 per cent). Only 18 percent GAC will be levied on mobile phones manufactured in India.
