When is Delhi Premier League 2024 Starting?
The Delhi Premier League 2024 is scheduled to start on August 17. This 6-team tournament will feature several stars from the Indian Premier League.
Additionally, a women’s version with 4 teams will also be played alongside the men’s tournament. Rising stars like Ishant Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Harshit Rana, and Ayush Badoni will be seen in action in the inaugural edition of DPL.
Delhi Premier League 2024: Team Names
The DPL 2024 Men’s category will include six teams: South Delhi Superstars, Old Delhi 6, Central Delhi Kings, North Delhi Strikers, West Delhi Lions, and East Delhi Riders.
In the women’s category, four teams will participate: South Delhi Superstars, Central Delhi Queens, North Delhi Strikers, and East Delhi Riders.
Delhi Premier League 2024: Date and Venue Details
The Delhi Premier League will kick off on August 17, with the final match scheduled for September 8. All matches will be held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The first season will feature a total of 40 matches, including 33 matches in the men’s category and 7 matches in the women’s category.
What Time Will the Delhi Premier League 2024 Start?
Rishabh Pant’s team, Old Delhi 6, will play their first match against South Delhi Superstars on August 17. The opening match will begin at 8:30 PM, while other matches will be played at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
