State Bureau, Ranchi: The Jharkhand Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination-2023 (Regular and Backlog) will be conducted on September 21 and 22 across approximately 750 centers in various districts.
A meeting of all district nodal officers and district education officers was held at the commission’s office on Saturday to ensure that the examination is conducted without any malpractices or irregularities. What did the commission’s chairman say?
Commission Chairman Prashant Kumar stated in the meeting that there should be complete and thorough preparation for the examination. There should be no possibility of any irregularities or malpractices.
The meeting included detailed discussions on various activities and processes related to the examination. Commission members Moti George Lakra, Pratap Chandra Kissingia, Secretary Sudhir Kumar Gupta, and other officials were also present.
How Many Candidates Will Participate?
Approximately 6.40 lakh candidates are expected to take part in this examination. Around 3.20 lakh candidates will appear on the first day, and the same number will appear on the second day. According to the commission’s calendar, the results of the examination will be released in the last week of October.
It is worth noting that this examination was initially scheduled for January 28 of this year. However, it was canceled after question papers were leaked at some centers. The examination scheduled for February 4 was also postponed. An FIR has been lodged at Namkom Police Station regarding this issue.
