Considering developmental works in the South East Central Railway, the railway administration has announced the cancellation of 14 express trains passing through the Chakradharpur division on various dates from September 10 to 27.
Additionally, four express trains will be operated via diverted routes, and one MEMU special train will undergo short termination and short origination. The large-scale cancellation of trains is expected to cause inconvenience to passengers who had reserved their tickets months in advance.
The following trains will be canceled on these dates:
- Train number 18113 Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express will be canceled from September 10 to 27.
- Train number 18114 Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express will be canceled from September 11 to 28.
- Train number 18109 Tatanagar-Itwari Express will be canceled from September 11 to 28.
- Train number 18110 Itwari-Tatanagar Express will be canceled from September 11 to 28.
- Train number 17008 Darbhanga-Secunderabad Express will be canceled on September 10, 13, 17, and 20.
- Train number 17007 Secunderabad-Darbhanga Express will be canceled on September 10, 14, 17, and 21.
- Train number 20828 Santragachi-Jabalpur Express will be canceled until September 11.
- Train number 20827 Jabalpur-Santragachi Express will be canceled until September 12.
- Train number 20822 Santragachi-Pune Express will be canceled on September 14 and 21.
- Train number 20821 Pune-Santragachi Express will be canceled on September 16 and 23.
- Train number 22843 Bilaspur-Patna Express will be canceled on September 13 and 20.
- Train number 22844 Patna-Bilaspur Express will be canceled on September 15 and 22.
- Train number 12870 Howrah-CSMT Mumbai Express will be canceled on September 13 and 20.
- Train number 12869 CSMT Mumbai-Howrah Express will be canceled on September 15 and 22.
These trains will operate on diverted routes:
- From September 10 to 22, train number 12810 Howrah-CSMT Mumbai Mail will operate via the diverted route of Jharsuguda-Titlagarh-Raipur to Mumbai.
- From September 10 to 22, train number 12809 CSMT Mumbai-Howrah Mail will operate via the diverted route of Raipur-Titlagarh-Jharsuguda to Howrah.
- From September 10 to 22, train number 12130 Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express will operate via the diverted route of Jharsuguda-Titlagarh-Raipur to Pune.
- From September 10 to 22, train number 12129 Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express will operate via the diverted route of Raipur-Titlagarh-Jharsuguda to Howrah.
These trains will operate with short termination and short origination:
- From September 11 to 28, train number 08861/08862 Gondia-Jharsuguda-Gondia MEMU Special will operate up to Bilaspur station.
