AFG vs NZ Test Match Abandoned Due to Rain
Big news has emerged regarding the only Test match between Afghanistan and New Zealand. Afghanistan-New Zealand Test Match Canceled
The only Test match between Afghanistan and New Zealand was abandoned without a ball being bowled. The Afghanistan Cricket Board issued an official statement, saying: “It is still raining in Greater Noida, and the fifth and final day of the Afghanistan vs New Zealand Test has been called off by the match officials due to continuous rain.” Despite early hopes for play, especially on the opening day, the match was ultimately canceled due to mud and a poor drainage system, preventing any cricket for the entire five days.
A Unique Incident in Test Cricket
This is only the eighth time in Test cricket history that a match has been abandoned without a ball being bowled. It’s the first time this has happened in 26 years.
