Actor Vikrant Massey began his career on the small screen and is currently playing the lead role in a film centered on a dreamlike journey. His performances consistently do justice to realistic roles. In the movie “12 Fail,” Vikrant portrayed IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, a role that touched the hearts of the audience. In the recently released “Sector 36,” he played a character based on a true story. Soon, audiences will see Vikrant on the big screen in another true story-based role in his upcoming movie “The Sabarmati Report.”
“The Sabarmati Report” is based on the 2002 Sabarmati Express fire incident at Godhra. The film’s release date has been postponed twice; it was initially scheduled for May, then pushed to August 2. However, it was not released in August either. Vikrant Massey recently announced the new release date of the film on his Instagram account. He shared a poster of the film, captioning it, “The Sabarmati Report will release on November 15, 2024.”
The movie is directed by Dheeraj Sarna and details the fire incident that took place on February 27, 2002, on the Sabarmati Express near Godhra railway station. Vikrant will portray a journalist in this film, with Raashi Khanna playing the role of a reporter and actress Riddhi Dogra appearing as Nivedita.
