Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Jharkhand today, where he will hold a historic roadshow in Ranchi. He will also address public gatherings. PM Modi began his program in ChandanKiyari, Bokaro, where he is addressing a public meeting. After that, he will address another gathering in Gumla. In the evening, around 4 PM, PM Modi will embark on a nearly 3-kilometer-long roadshow in Ranchi.
The BJP Wave in Jharkhand
While addressing the gathering in ChandanKiyari, Bokaro, PM Modi said, “Today, a strong wave is in favor of the BJP in Jharkhand. The plateau of Chotanagpur is also saying: ‘The call of bread, daughter, and soil – BJP-NDA government in Jharkhand.'”
PM Modi further added, “We (BJP) built Jharkhand, and we will develop it. People who were against the creation of Jharkhand will never bring progress to the state.”
Allegations of Sand Smuggling
PM Modi also accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders of sand smuggling, claiming that they are making crores by illegally trafficking sand. He said, “They have piles of money, and even machines are getting tired of counting the notes. Where did this money come from? Isn’t it your rightful share? Was it not looted from your pockets?” He promised that after the government is formed, his party will fight in court to ensure that these corrupt individuals face severe punishment.
Opposition to OBC Unity
During the rallies in Bokaro and Gumla, PM Modi stated that the Congress and JMM are strong opponents of OBC unity. He alleged that these parties wanted to divide communities and create conflicts to gain power. “Until our Dalit, tribal brothers and OBC society were divided after independence, Congress continued to form governments at the center. But once these communities united and awakened, Congress has not been able to form a full-majority government,” PM Modi added. He also reminded the audience that after OBCs were granted reservation in 1990, Congress has never been able to win more than 250 seats in the Lok Sabha. He reiterated the slogan, “Stay united, stay safe.”
