Vicky Kaushal Shares Special Memory of His First Meeting with Katrina Kaif
Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for the release of his upcoming historical film ‘Chhawa’, and he’s currently busy promoting it. During one of the promotional interviews, Vicky shared a special memory about his and Katrina Kaif’s love story.
Bollywood actors’ love stories rarely stay hidden for long, but Vicky and Katrina managed to keep their relationship a secret. They surprised their fans in 2021 when they announced their marriage. Since then, fans have been eager to learn more about their love story, which remains a bit of a mystery.
In an interview with Pinkvilla for the promotion of ‘Chhawa’, Vicky recalled the moment he first met Katrina. Vicky and Kartik Aaryan were hosting an event at the time, and Vicky danced with Katrina on stage to many of her hit songs. Speaking about that moment, Vicky said, “This is where I met her for the first time and got to know her.”
A Special Memory from the First Meeting
Vicky went on to explain that while hosting the event, a machine and microphone were attached to his ear, constantly giving him instructions on what to do and what not to do. “All those instructions were coming into my ear while I was introduced to her for the first time,” he recalled.
When asked if he was a bit nervous during that encounter, Vicky quickly responded, “No.” He added, “I wasn’t worried; but to be honest, I didn’t know if she knew me or not. But, she really looked very sweet.”

Speaking of work, Vicky’s ‘Chhawa’ is generating a lot of buzz. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar, is set to release on February 14. Rashmika Mandanna stars alongside Vicky in the lead role.
As for Katrina, she was last seen in the Tamil film ‘Merry Christmas’. Before that, her performance in ‘Tiger 3’ in Bollywood was widely appreciated.
