‘Chhawa’ Movie: AR Rahman’s ‘Aaya Re Tufan’ Released; Kshitij Patwardhan Shares Gratitude

Additionally, Kshitij Patwardhan, a noted Marathi writer, has written the lyrics for the song. Kshitij previously worked as the writer for the movie ‘Singham Again’ and now has everyone’s attention with his contribution to ‘Aaya Re Tufan’.

On the occasion of the release of ‘Aaya Re Tufan’, Kshitij Patwardhan shared a heartfelt post, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to work with AR Rahman for the first time. In his post, Kshitij wrote:
“On the occasion of ‘Aaya Re Tufan’ from ‘Chhawa’, I felt a sense of accomplishment in life through the love I felt for the song ‘Majya Raja Ram, Majya Shivba Re’, when I was given the responsibility of writing a song about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I truly feel lucky that I was able to serve both kings through words.”
He went on to express gratitude, saying, “This was the first time I worked with AR Rahman sir. I am indebted for the rest of my life to Director Laxman Utekar sir, Producer Dinesh Vijan sir, and Irshad Kamil sir with whom I had the fortune to write this song. My beloved singer Vaishali Samant has sung this song beautifully. May ‘Chhawa’ be another precious gift given to the country by Marathi soil.”
