The flight departed from Barbados in the afternoon according to Indian time and will arrive in India on Thursday morning. Interestingly, after coming here, all the players of Team India and BCCI officials will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi first, the schedule has now been revealed. As reported by ANI, the entire Team India will reach Delhi directly on Thursday morning in a special flight from Barbados. After this, it has been decided that the Indian team will meet PM Modi at 11 am. PM Modi will meet all the Indian athletes and will also felicitate them there.
After Team India won the T20 World Cup title on the night of June 29, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the Indian team on the same night. The video of which was also revealed. Not only this, he also spoke to the Indian players over the phone. Along with this, he shared his photos on X.
Indian team’s route to the victory parade in an open bus
Indian team will arrive in Mumbai after Narendra Modi’s visit. On arrival in Mumbai, the team will parade in an open bus with the trophy from the National Center for Performing Arts at Nariman Point to the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Thursday at 4 pm. “As the players were tired, it was decided to have a short victory parade in an open bus from NCPA, Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium. Prize distribution will follow. Where the prize money of Rs 125 crore will be distributed by BCCI Secretary Jai Shah. This was said by a source of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
