The incident happened two days ago when a woman was crushed by a speeding BMW car in Mumbai’s Worli area. A woman died in this incident. Mihir Shah, the main accused in this case, has now been arrested.
According to information received, Mumbai Police has arrested Mihir Shah from Shahapur. Apart from this, it is known that his mother and sister have also been detained. Soon he will be admitted to the hospital for medical examination. He is also likely to be produced in court this evening or tomorrow morning. Mihir Shah is said to be the son of Shiv Sena Shinde faction deputy leader Rajesh Shah.

In the early hours of Sunday (July 7), a couple traveling on a two-wheeler was hit by a BMW vehicle. After the collision, the driver took the woman for a distance of 100 meters. The accident took place near Atria Mall in Worli. The couple lives in Worli Koliwada near the mall and had gone to Sassoon Dock in the morning to buy fish. The incident took place while returning home with fish.
Meanwhile, before this accident, Shah had consumed alcohol in a bar in Juhu on Mihir night. After that he went to Goregaon. After going home we have to go for a long drive, he took the driver and went out again. During his journey he reached Worli area of Mumbai. After that he left for Goregaon again. Eyewitnesses have alleged that Mihir Shah himself was driving the car while going to Goregaon. After this accident, Mihir Shah ran away from the accident site. Since then he was absconding. He has now been arrested.
