Preparations for this wedding have been going on for the past several months. Pre-wedding, music and many other rituals were performed with great royal pomp. The three-day wedding ceremony took place at Jio World Center in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. This royal ceremony started from Vantara in Jamnagar district of Gujarat. So far thousands of crores have been spent on this wedding. From Hollywood, Bollywood and Tollywood famous actors, sportspersons, politicians, dignitaries, spiritual gurus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sangh General Secretary Mohan Bhagwat, many people have attended the various events of Anant Ambani’s wedding. It has been revealed that the Ambani family spent only 0.5 percent of their wealth on this wedding.

The Reliance conglomerate of the Ambani family is involved in many sectors of industry. Live Mint, The Economic Times and Outlook Business have reported the estimated cost of this wedding. Accordingly, it is said that 5,000 crores were spent on this royal wedding ceremony. This cost is said to include Hollywood, Bollywood celebrities to perform art, wedding guests and all other expenses.

According to a report by Financial Express, the Ambani family spent Rs 5,000 crore, surpassing the Rs 1,361 crore spent on the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. It has also spent more than the Rs 1,144 crore spent on the wedding of Sheikha Hind bint bin Maktoum and the King of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Reuters reported that three Falcon-2000 jets were hired by the Ambani family to fly guests arriving in Mumbai on Friday (July 12) for the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Club One Air CEO Rajan Mehra said that more than 100 private planes are likely to be used during the wedding celebrations.
Celebrities, artists, sportspersons, industrialists and politicians from all over the world including India will attend this wedding. Therefore, the number of guests in five star hotels in Mumbai has increased. Mukesh Ambani is also said to have booked several five-star hotels around the Mumbai airport and in the Bandra Kurla complex for the wedding guests .
