Aaradhya Bachchan Takes Legal Action Against False Health Information on Google and Other Websites
Aaradhya Bachchan, the daughter of Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and actor Abhishek Bachchan, is frequently in the news on social media. She often appears with her mother at various events, and many of her videos go viral. Recently, Aaradhya has once again become a topic of discussion on social media for a different reason: she has approached the Delhi High Court regarding false information about her health on Google and other websites.
What is the Real Issue?
Aaradhya filed a petition in April 2023 with the help of her father, Abhishek Bachchan, to challenge the misleading health information circulating on the internet. The petition requested the removal of incorrect details about her health on platforms like Google and YouTube. Following this, the court ordered YouTube to take down videos spreading false information about her and instructed Google to remove such content as well.
During the hearing in 2023, Justice C. Hari Shankar stated, “Spreading such information about a minor is a violation of the law. Therefore, it should be removed immediately, and care should be taken to ensure this does not happen in the future. The central government should block such content, and Google must follow the rules.”
However, since some of the videos and false information still remain online, Aaradhya has once again approached the court for further action.
What False Information Was Spread About Aaradhya’s Health?
In her petition, Aaradhya revealed that misleading information had been spread, claiming that she suffered from a serious illness. Some websites even falsely reported her death.
Next Hearing in the Case
A hearing on the case was held on Monday, where the Delhi High Court sent notices to Google and other websites. The next hearing in this case is scheduled for March 17.

Aaradhya, now 13, is a star kid and remains in the public eye, especially on social media. She is often seen attending Bollywood events with her parents, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. The spread of such false information about her has angered fans, who have expressed their displeasure about the situation.
