Many small screen actors travel by train to reach their schedule on time. Common people experience many things in daily life while traveling in Mumbai local. Often the trains run late, sometimes it is impossible to board the train due to heavy crowding. So, there is no standing room even in AC trains. A Maratha actress has recently expressed the pain of her local journey by sharing a post on Instagram. In this post, she has written in detail how the actress had to suffer because the AC train was not coming on time. Apart from this, the actress has also indicated through this post that the administration should pay attention to this and take a decision in the interest of the passengers.
Actress Akshata Apte, who appeared in the series ’36 Guni Jodi’ to the newly launched ‘Nawari Mume Hitlerla’, shared her experience of traveling by train in a post. Through this post, the actress has highlighted the issue of how ticket money is wasted as AC local does not arrive on time.
Actress Akshata Apte’s post
On Central Railway, AC trains should either arrive on time, otherwise, if TC does not have a ticket after boarding the train… the passenger should upgrade the ordinary or first class ticket on the spot without taking penalty.
If you take an AC ticket while preparing to catch an AC train, the train does not come, you waste time waiting and finally you have to catch a simple train, the money for the AC train ticket is wasted and you say ‘Let’s go now, the AC train has never left’. If you have a class ticket, the AC train will arrive at the exact (horribly late) time.
There is no time to go to the ticket window in a hurry to get a ticket, and not every station has an ATVM machine. In such a case TC will levy fine even if the difference is only 15/- for boarding that train. That means that money should go without any fault of ours.
This confusion has happened to me many times. I mean, I have paid a disciplinary fine while having a first class ticket and suddenly AC train unexpectedly appeared on the indicator, 8 no. to Dadar. We ran from the top and went to the main window until we got the ticket. In both these cases the AC train was terribly late and I was really in a hurry to reach somewhere.
Money goes to both sides.
Whose fault is it?
Aren’t AC trains started to reduce traffic jams, save travel time and have a comfortable journey? Honestly, after spending so much money on the ticket, how can it work if so many rare trains come at such unreliable times?? On the contrary, they should be top priority, right? What do you think? And even the M-indicator does not know exactly how it eats the soil in such a case!
Meanwhile, netizens have given numerous reactions to Akshat’s post. Many people have said that as the AC train does not come on time, the money we take out for the month pass is wasted. Also some other users have also agreed with Akshat’s opinion.
