Giridih: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team has been conducting a raid since this morning at the residence of Hazaribagh Sadar SDO Shailesh Kumar, located in Shastri Nagar, Giridih. Raids are also reported at his office and official residence located at the Hazaribagh Collectorate.
In connection with the raid, the ACB team from Ranchi has also reached Giridih. It is said that early this morning, the team conducted searches at various locations associated with SDO Shailesh Kumar. According to information, the raids are being conducted in relation to the Bargai land scam in Ranchi. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had initially acted on the matter, but it was later handed over to the ACB. The ACB has been conducting a thorough investigation into the case for the past several days. As part of this, searches are being carried out at Shailesh Kumar’s office and residence.
Shailesh Kumar’s Father is a Retired Government Employee
Shailesh Kumar’s father, Uday Shankar Prasad, retired four years ago. He had been serving as a Circle Inspector at the Giridih Sadar Circle Office. Besides Uday Shankar Prasad’s house, the ACB team is also conducting investigations at the shop of his other son, Rinku Sinha.
Rinku Sinha owns a marble shop. Additionally, two other sons of Uday Shankar Prasad are also in government service. Currently, the ACB team is engaged in scrutinizing documents.
