Speaking to Bhardwaj Rangan in an interview given to ‘Gallata Plus’, he disclosed about an incident in the film. He was asked what was the most difficult thing while shooting the film ‘Sarfira’. Talking about it, he said that there are many things in the film, with which many events in my life are connected. In the film, my character’s father passes away and the character goes through that grief. To tell you the truth, I too was going through a similar shock after my father passed away. When I shot that scene, I didn’t feel the need for glycerin as usual. I put into my role what I felt when my father passed away, the tears in my eyes during that scene were real. Even when Sudha said cut, my head was down. Because it was not possible for me to come back from that feeling. So I asked Sudha to take this shot longer. Because at that time I could live that moment. Akshay further admitted that it took a week for Sudha and me to understand each other’s way of working.
Meanwhile, a few days ago, Sudha also commented on the difference between Akshay and his work in an interview. In an interview with Gallata Plus, he said that Akshay was not happy for the first six days. He used to think how this girl can make me do anything like crazy. After that the producer and he interacted with me. I told him, do what you want to do. If I have any corrections to make, I will make them. The film is based on the life of the man who founded Deccan Airlines. The film is based on the Tamil biopic ‘Sorarai Potaru’. The film is said to be released this Friday.
