But now, after a month, it is all set to release on OTT.

Amaran has performed tremendously at the box office, receiving a positive response from audiences. As reported by industry tracker Sacknilk, the Tamil film has collected a total of Rs 322 crore at the worldwide box office. While Tamil films are often released on OTT 28 days after their theatrical release, Amaran is an exception due to its blockbuster success, which is why it will be released a bit later.
Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, Amaran is based on Major Mukund Varadarajan, from the book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes, written by Siva Aroor and Rahul Singh. The film follows the journey of Major Mukund (Sivakarthikeyan) and his wife Indu Rebecca Varghese (Sai Pallavi), and their tragic deaths in a terrorist attack in Kashmir.
The film has been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
