Amit Shah’s Reaction to Delhi Election Result 2025
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has been in power in Delhi for the last 10 years, has suffered a crushing defeat in the 2025 Assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which had been out of power in Delhi for the past 27 years, has secured a resounding victory. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has now reacted to the results, congratulating the winning candidates and expressing gratitude to the people of Delhi.
Amit Shah stated, “Modi is in the hearts of Delhiites. The people of Delhi have freed the capital from calamities by bringing down the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ of lies, fraud, and corruption. Delhiites have taught a lesson to the deceivers. This victory marks the beginning of a new era of development and trust in Delhi.”
He further added, “The era of false rule has come to an end in Delhi. Arrogance and anarchy have been defeated. The people have placed their trust in Modi’s guarantee and his vision of development. I express my heartfelt thanks to the people of Delhi for this massive mandate. Under Modi’s leadership, the BJP is committed to making Delhi the number one capital in the world by fulfilling all its promises.”
Amit Shah also emphasized that Delhi’s voters rejected false promises, saying, “The people have responded with their votes against the stinking Yamuna, unclean drinking water, poor roads, and illegal encroachments in every street. Whether it’s the dignity of women or the self-respect of residents in unauthorized colonies, Delhi will now become an ideal capital under Narendra Modi’s leadership.”
