State Bureau, Ranchi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Ranchi on Saturday evening. During his visit, he will attend two meetings at the state BJP office. The first meeting will involve the leaders of the state BJP, including organization in-charge Laxmikant Bajpai, election in-charges Shivraj Singh Chauhan, and Himanta Biswa Sarma, who will discuss the ongoing election process. Following this, there will be a meeting with all constituency in-charges, where they will strategize on the election campaign. State President Babulal Marandi and the three in-charges will also be present. Through these meetings, the Home Minister will work on formulating strategies for winning the assembly elections.
On Sunday, from Ranchi, he will proceed to Simaria, Barkatha, and Ghatsila, where he will hold public gatherings and appeal for votes for BJP candidates.
Amit Shah may meet those who withdrew their nominations: During his stay in Ranchi, Amit Shah may also meet with individuals who initially filed nominations against BJP’s official candidates but later withdrew. Election co-incharge and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had persuaded these rebel leaders to withdraw their nominations. Additionally, the Home Minister is expected to meet with party MPs to discuss election strategies in their constituencies.
PM Narendra Modi’s rallies on November 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold rallies in Garhwa and Chaibasa on November 4 to campaign for BJP candidates. During his stay, Amit Shah will be briefed on the Prime Minister’s visit and will plan which other constituencies could host PM’s rallies.
Assam CM succeeds in pacifying disappointed BJP members: Assam Chief Minister and BJP’s state co-incharge Himanta Biswa Sarma, upon arriving in West Singhbhum, managed to persuade BJP’s rebel leaders to align with the party again, strengthening BJP’s candidates. On Wednesday morning, he arrived at the election office in Chaibasa and met with rebel leader Mangal Singh Giluva from the Jagannathpur constituency. Giluva agreed to support BJP candidate Geeta Koda and withdrew his nomination. Sarma also spoke over the phone with former Manoharpur MLA Guru Charan Nayak, who similarly agreed to withdraw his nomination.
