Nikhil Advani then shared a story about Amitabh Bachchan. He said, “In my early career, I worked with Yash Raj Films. At that time, Yash Chopra offered Amitabh Bachchan a role in Silsila. He asked him how much money he wanted as remuneration. Amitabh wanted to buy a house, so he told Yash Chopra to pay him a good amount.”
Nikhil Advani continued, “A few years later, Yash Chopra asked Amitabh Bachchan to act in Mohabbatein and again inquired about his payment. This time, Amitabh Bachchan said, ‘I will take only one rupee, after having received the money for buying my house earlier.’”
