State Bureau, Ranchi: After a long time, the position of State Disability (Divyangjan) Commissioner will be filled in the state. The Department of Women and Child Development has invited applications for this position until August 20.
The previously invited applications have been canceled, and new applications are being sought. Government employees, retirees, or non-government individuals are eligible to apply. The appointment to this position will be for three years.
Maximum Age Limit: However, if necessary, the term can be extended twice by one year each. The maximum age limit for this position has been set at 65 years.
A government employee appointed to this position will receive the same pay scale they are currently receiving. For retirees, the state government will determine the salary according to government regulations. Non-government employees will receive a monthly salary of ₹60,000. It is worth mentioning that the position was vacant after the tenure of Satish Chandra ended, and department officials were handling the additional responsibility.
