Bengaluru Incident: BMTC Conductor Stabbed by Passenger at ITPL Bus Stop Near Whitefield
In a shocking incident at the ITPL bus stop near Whitefield, Bengaluru, a BMTC Volvo bus conductor, Yogesh, was stabbed by a young man identified as Harisimha from Jharkhand. The altercation occurred when the conductor asked the young man, who was standing on the bus footboard, to move inside. In a fit of rage, Harisimha reportedly stabbed Yogesh multiple times.
The situation escalated as the accused then smashed the bus windows with a hammer and kicked the bus door, behaving erratically. This violent episode was captured by bystanders on their mobile phones. Following the attack, the Whitefield police arrested Harisimha and are currently interrogating him.
Reports suggest that Harisimha, a B.Com graduate, had recently lost his job, which might have contributed to his outburst. It is also said that he assaulted another passenger, seemingly driven by frustration over his unemployment and a desire to end up in jail. Yogesh, the bus conductor, is in critical condition and is receiving treatment at a hospital.
Fight Between BMTC Conductor and Passenger

The argument, reportedly over a minor issue, escalated into a physical fight. A fellow passenger recorded the incident on their mobile phone, adding to the ongoing concerns about passenger-conductor disputes in Bengaluru.
