State Bureau, Ranchi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo advised the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) not to view sensitive issues through the lens of appeasement and vote bank politics.
During a press conference on Friday, Pratul accused the government of unnecessarily creating tension regarding a Ram Temple-themed pandal being built at the old Assembly ground in Dhurwa. He questioned, “If a grand pandal representing the Ram Temple is being built, why does the government have an objection? If the Ram Temple-themed pandal is not built in India, should it be built in Pakistan?”
JMM Engaging in Vote Bank Appeasement Pratul Shahdeo further said that if JMM leaders read the affidavit submitted by the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs to the High Court, they would understand the issue of infiltration.
Infiltration in Six Districts of Santhal Pargana He alleged that JMM is denying the truth for the sake of vote bank appeasement. The affidavit clearly states, under point number 35, that infiltration has occurred in six districts of Santhal Pargana, specifically through the Pakur and Sahibganj areas. Many madrasas have been established in the border districts.
Center Provided List of Infiltrators, But… He also revealed that in 2021, the central government had sent two letters to the state, providing lists of 203 and 145 infiltrators, respectively. The Center had requested the state to take action, but the state government has not acted on it.
