Central Railway Mumbai Local Update : A goods train diverted to a different track after getting a wrong signal at Badlapur station of Central Railway. As a result, the schedule of local trains running on that track has been disrupted. Local trains have stopped at Badlapur station and all local trains going to Khopoli have been restricted to Ambernath.
“Due to unavoidable greening, traffic on SE route has been affected. On all the down routes going to Badlapur, Karjat, Khopoli, the local will run till Ambernath and again leave for going to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus”, the information has been given by Central Railway. Meanwhile, the freight train has now departed and repairs to the signal system have begun.
Central Railway has been running late for the past few days. Due to technical failure or reduced visibility due to rain, Central Railway timetables are disrupted. In addition, as it is the time to leave the office, the passengers going towards Badlapur will be inconvenienced. Passengers from Badlapur, Karjat, Khopoli used to come towards Mumbai for jobs.. But now local trains are stuck at Badlapur station during rush hour, so local trips have been continued till Ambernath. Due to this, the passengers going ahead of Ambernath will be inconvenienced.

Many low-lying areas in Mumbai and Thane were inundated on July 25. Many rivers were flooded and life was disrupted. Roads were blocked as the river and bridge overflowed. As a result, local schedule on Central Railway collapsed. The route was not clear as the visibility was reduced due to overcast conditions. So the motorman was instructed to reduce the local speed. Due to this, the frequency of local flights slowed down on Thursday. During the morning and evening rush hours, the problem of commuters worsened.
Due to heavy rainfall in Kalyan, Badlapur, Karjat areas, local services were affected. Central Railway speed limit of 30 km per hour was kept between Badlapur to Wangani railway line for safety reasons. Due to this, many flights on this route were cancelled. Some were partially canceled and many were delayed. Up and down local running towards CSMT by 20 to 40 minutes, CSMT – Belapur on Harbor line, up and down local on Panvel line by 10 to 15 minutes, while local on Western Railway ran late by 10 to 20 minutes.
