Chhaava Movie New Release Date: The audience has been eagerly waiting for the release of the much-awaited film Chhaava, which tells the heroic story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, for the past several months. Earlier, this film was supposed to clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 in December. However, the release date of Chhaava was later changed.
Actor Vicky Kaushal will play the historical role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film. Vicky has been working hard day and night for this role. Getting the opportunity to portray Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was a significant moment for the actor. Therefore, both the audience and Vicky’s fans were eagerly awaiting the trailer of the film. Finally, today, on the occasion of the coronation ceremony of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the film team and Maddock Films have announced the new release date of Chhaava.
Vicky Kaushal (Chhaava Movie) shared a post and wrote, “Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s coronation ceremony was held on 16th January 1681. On the occasion of this day, exactly 344 years later, we are ready to present the success story of Maharaj on the big screen.” Vicky mentioned in the post that the trailer of Chhaava will be released on 22nd January. Additionally, he has announced the new release date of the film.
The much-awaited film Chhaava will hit the screens on February 14. Along with Vicky, South Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna will play the role of Maharani Yesubai. Several Marathi actors, including Santosh Juvekar and Shubhankar Ekbote, will also be seen in important roles in the film. Actor Akshaye Khanna will be portraying Aurangzeb in Chhaava.
The film Chhaava has been directed by Laxman Utekar. This is Vicky and Laxman Utekar’s second collaboration, following the romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, which released in 2023.
