Godda: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has stated that the time has come to protect Jharkhand from the “vulture-like” gaze of the BJP. He said that these vultures are continuously circling in the sky, and there is a conspiracy to divide society and families through issues like temple-mosque, infiltration, and Hindu-Muslim tensions. He urged people not to let these forces enter.
The Chief Minister announced that the state government will ensure that each family receives financial assistance of one lakh rupees annually. He also highlighted several welfare schemes, including universal pension, Maiya Samman Yojana, agricultural loan waiver, electricity bill waiver, 200 units of free electricity, Abua Awas, Abua Health Card, Birsa Harit Kranti, and Guruji Credit Card, which are directly benefiting the people. The government is reaching out to villages to ensure that underprivileged families receive the benefits of these schemes, and this process will continue.
‘Attempts at Horse-trading’ The CM alleged that when the coalition government is functioning well, there are attempts to obstruct its work at every step. He claimed that efforts are being made to buy legislators, ministers, and even former chief ministers, adding that the BJP has long mastered this game. He cautioned people to be wary of “imported leaders” trying to carry out such acts in Jharkhand and asked them not to let such people enter their villages.
At a government camp aimed at connecting with the public, the CM laid the foundation and inaugurated various schemes worth approximately ₹350 crores. He distributed assets worth ₹385 crores to numerous beneficiaries, provided tricycles to 34 differently-abled individuals, and handed appointment letters to more than three dozen unemployed people.
The Chief Minister also held an online dialogue with beneficiaries from Madhupur and Boarijore, seeking to understand whether they were receiving the benefits of government schemes. He reviewed programs like the Maiya Samman Yojana, agricultural loan waiver, universal pension, and electricity bill waiver, while also assessing the public mood. He reminded people that elections are approaching, and urged them to remain vigilant.
‘BJP Failed to Bring Development to Villages’ Addressing the event at Rajendra Stadium in Mahagama, the CM launched a strong attack on the BJP. He stated that the BJP ruled Jharkhand for 20 years but failed to bring development to the villages. Despite the BJP’s long tenure, he emphasized that development never reached the grassroots level, while accusing them of continued attempts at horse-trading even now.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the coalition government was being hindered at every turn, and once again urged people to be cautious of BJP leaders trying to infiltrate their villages. He concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to bringing benefits to every corner of the state and ensuring the well-being of the people.
