State Bureau, Ranchi: In preparation for the Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024, the Screening Committee formed by the All India Congress Committee will soon engage with candidates to discuss their potential selection.
In the presence of Pradesh Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmad Mir and State President Rajesh Thakur, the committee’s chairman Girish Chodankar announced that members of the committee will soon visit Jharkhand. Screening Committee members Poonam Paswan and Prakash Joshi were also present at the meeting.
Discussion on All Assembly Seats:
During this meeting in Delhi, focused on election preparations, a detailed initial discussion was held on all assembly seats in Jharkhand.
Analysis of 81 Assembly Seats:
The meeting reviewed the conditions, social equations, key issues, status of alliance partners, performance during the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections on a constituency basis, and organizational aspects concerning all 81 assembly seats. Spokesperson Sonal Shanti mentioned that the committee’s chairman and members will meet with potential candidates to understand their perspectives and will also assess the ground realities with the help of party workers.
