Delhi UPSC Student Deaths: Three students preparing for UPSC died on Saturday night after water entered the basement of the IAS coaching center in Delhi. After this incident, there were demands to take action against the culprits. In this case, the Delhi Police arrested two people along with the owner of the coaching center on Sunday. Meanwhile, five more people have been arrested in this case. This also includes the SUV driver who broke the basement gate by hitting it. A total of seven people have been arrested in this case so far.

According to a report by The Indian Express quoting the police, the Delhi Police on Monday arrested five more people in this case. This also includes the SUV driver who broke the gate of the basement of the coaching center. The SUV hit the basement gate while passing through the waterlogged road. It is claimed that due to this the gate broke and water entered.
The arrested included the driver of the vehicle
Delhi Police Deputy Commissioner Harsh Vardhan has given information in this regard. We have arrested the driver of the Force Gurkha vehicle that rammed the basement gate on Monday. A case has been registered against him under Section 105 of the Indian Penal Code. He said that water had accumulated in the basement where the car hit the gate. However, he has refused to reveal the name of the driver.
Earlier, two persons including the owner of the coaching center were arrested
Meanwhile, two persons including the owner of the coaching center were arrested in this case on Sunday. It was also revealed that a library was established in this basement without permission. As reported by ‘The Indian Express’, the library was started in the basement of this building without permission. Classes were also held at this place. Importantly, this basement was allowed to be used as a godown. However, illegal libraries were started here in violation of the rules.
After this incident, action was taken against the coaching center on Sunday. Also, two people were arrested along with the owner of the coaching center. A case was registered against him under Sections 105, 106 (1), 152, 290 and 35 of the Indian Penal Code.
