Waking up in the morning is a very good habit and this habit has many health benefits. So doctors always advise us to wake up early in the morning. We feel refreshed after waking up before sunrise. According to some experts, waking up before sunrise helps detox your body. Now you must be wondering, what exactly is detoxing the body? Detoxing the body means removing toxins from the body, yes.
Dr. Dimple Jangada has shared a video from her Instagram account. In this video, she says, “If you wake up 45 minutes before sunrise and do nothing, just sit straight and close your eyes, it flushes out toxins from your body. You will feel movements in your bowels; which can relieve constipation and clear your stomach.”
Is there really a science behind it?
Chirag Barjatya, founder of PFC Club, says, “There is no scientific evidence that it is necessary to get up 45 minutes before sunrise. Sunrise and sunset times are fixed in India. So there is no need to wake up at a specific time. Detoxification is more beneficial for good health, beauty and wellness. So, to stay healthy, we need to periodically remove the toxins from our body. But, there is no scientific evidence for this.”
If you do not have any serious illness, you have the ability to remove toxins from the body; Due to which you can continuously purify the body. During this cleanse you can flush out the toxins and bad substances from the body.
“There is no need to sit in any particular position for detoxification of the body. There is no evidence that waking up at a particular time affects the detoxification process”, says Chirag Barjatya.
Barjatya adds, “Shifts at work, incomplete sleep can increase the risk of heart-related diseases. Problems like obesity, type-2 diabetes and dyslipidemia can develop.” Dyslipidemia is a metabolic disease. When lipids in the blood become dysregulated, the disease dyslipidemia occurs.
“No specific lifestyle or diet is recommended to flush toxins out of the body; But there are many things we can do to keep the liver healthy. Reason- Liver is an important organ for detoxification. Eating less sugar and saturated fats and more fiber-rich foods can be beneficial,” says Barjatya.
