Elvish Yadav, the winner of the second season of Bigg Boss OTT, has been in the limelight for snake smuggling for the past few days. Now the ED has sent a notice to him in this matter and ordered him to appear for investigation.
Information has come to light that Elvis Yadav is currently out of India. According to officials, Elvish Yadav was called for questioning on July 8, but he said he could not come for questioning as he was on a foreign tour. Therefore, he has been ordered to appear on July 23 for questioning. Along with this, Elvis Yadav’s close friend and Haryana singer Rahul Yadav alias Fajilpuria has been interrogated for almost seven hours at ED’s Lucknow office on July 8. He used a snake in one of his popular songs. Elvish’s other associates Ishwar Yadav and Vinay Yadav have also been questioned in this case.
An FIR was registered against Elvish Yadav and six other people in this case. A 1200-page charge sheet was then filed under the Wildlife Protection Act. It was said that snakes were smuggled and poison was used in the party.
Elvish Yadav was arrested by Noida police on Sunday, March 17, in connection with providing snake poison at a rave party. The police then remanded Elvis to 14 days judicial custody. Elvis was said to have confessed to supplying snakes and snake venom to rave parties. But, later Elvish was granted bail.
A team of Noida Police and Forest Department had arrested some of the eagles in the month of November. He had informed during interrogation that he used to supply snake poison to Elvish Yadav. A case was then registered against Elvish Yadav and his accomplices. Elvish Yadav had defended himself saying that these allegations are false and that he is innocent, that he is being deceived in this case. In the second season of Bigg Boss OTT, Elvish Yadav entertained the audience and created a special place in their hearts. Along with this, he had won the title of this event in his name. Now it will be important to see what will be the result of the ED investigation and whether the charges against Elvish and his accomplices will be proved or not.
