Euro 2024 Championship semifinal: Spain has reached the final of the Euro Cup after 12 years. They defeated France 2-1 in the first semi-final played at the Allianz Arena in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday. The heroes of Spain’s victory were Dani Olmo and 16-year-old Lamine Yamal.
Spain will now face the winner of the second semi-final between England and the Netherlands on Sunday in the final. Earlier, Spain reached the final in 2012 by beating Italy. France took the lead with a goal in the first 10 minutes of the match, but after 15 minutes Spain scored the first goal to equalize.
In the 7th minute of the match, France captain Kylian Mbappe tried to score, but Jesus Navas grabbed the ball before he could reach the goal post. Just two minutes later, Mbappe had the ball, immediately passed the ball to his teammate, and Kolo Muani’s header hit the post to give the team a 1-0 lead.

Leading 2-1 in the first half, the Spanish team dominated the French team. But in the 60th minute of the match, Ousmane Dembele of France tried to equalize the score with a cross shot, but his attempt was blocked by Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon. Spain’s lead remained until the end and Spain won the match 2-1.
