Ranchi: Hemant Soren Meets Rahul Gandhi
Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren made a sudden visit to Delhi. During this visit, he met with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. This meeting has sparked speculation in the political landscape of Jharkhand, with various theories emerging.
It is reported that several important issues were discussed during this meeting. Among these, there is speculation that the first round of talks regarding seat-sharing for the assembly elections might have taken place. Additionally, discussions on the current political situation between the two leaders are also believed to have occurred. However, Hemant Soren described the meeting as a courtesy visit.
JMM Will Contest with Full Strength: Hemant Soren
While Hemant Soren was meeting with Rahul Gandhi, his wife Kalpana Soren, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, and KC Venugopal were also present. Hemant Soren assured that everything is proceeding well and that they will contest the elections with full strength. He added that a blueprint for this will be prepared soon.
Current Government’s Term to End in 2024
The current government in Jharkhand is set to complete its term in 2024. Jharkhand is gearing up for elections at the end of this year to elect the 81-member assembly.
