Jharkhand News: New Update on ‘Maiyan Samman Yojana’
A new update has emerged regarding the Maiyan Samman Yojana. It has been stated that women who are fraudulently taking benefits from the scheme should voluntarily step down. Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself shared this update, mentioning that those who are benefiting from the scheme by providing false affidavits and fraudulent means should step out on their own.
Chief Minister’s Appeal
Hemant Soren said that if any woman is wrongly availing the benefits of the scheme, the real beneficiaries will be deprived of it. Therefore, he appealed to these women to step out voluntarily. He also assured that women who were left out of the scheme will be included soon.
Empowering Women and the State’s Future
Speaking to the media after the program, he said that women who missed out on joining the scheme will be added soon. He further mentioned that his government has set a course that no one can erase. Regarding the issue of gas cylinders being provided at ₹450, he said that women will become so empowered through the Maiyan Samman Yojana that they will be able to buy many such cylinders on their own, and will no longer need such subsidies.
He emphasized that until the rural economy is strengthened, the state cannot progress. Now, women will play a key role in leading the state toward progress.
Chief Minister’s Message to Beneficiaries
Before the program, an SMS from Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached the women beneficiaries and other citizens. The message read:
“Johar! On completing one month of the ‘Abua Sarkar’, every sister will receive ₹2500 in her account as respect amount. This is not just financial support but a symbol of our gratitude towards every sister. With your trust, we are stepping toward development and equality. Abua Sarkar is with you, to make your every dream come true.”
Women’s Role in State Development
Chief Minister Hemant Soren further stated that just as a plough cannot function without two oxen, farming is not possible, similarly, the development of the state and country can only happen when women and men work together.
He emphasized that through the Maiyan Samman Yojana, the government has created a system where women will have the full capacity to fulfill their dreams. This scheme will help them increase their income as well. The government will continue to visit villages and rural areas to understand the activities being conducted for economic prosperity, and will extend full support to these initiatives.
