Jio Extends Validity Of Most Popular Plan: At the end of June, Reliance Jio and Airtel increased the cost of mobile recharge plan services, which hit the pockets of customers. From July 3, these telecom companies have increased the prices of all mobile recharge plans by up to 25 percent. So both prepaid and postpaid users have to pay extra for recharge. But seeing this, Jio on Monday made some changes to its most popular recharge plan. OTT subscriptions have also been announced along with some new plans.
So, as announced by the company, the validity of Jio’s Rs 349 per month plan has been reduced from 28 days to 30 days and the Rs 999 plan has been given a validity of 98 days. Jio’s Rs 349 plan is the cheapest plan; It has features like 5G network, unlimited calling, 2GB 4G data and 30 days validity.
In place of Jio’s Rs 1,199 plan, the company has introduced a new Rs 999 plan; In which 84 days validity, 3 GB 4G data per day was offered. But now, it has been given an additional 14 days validity, keeping the charges the same. Instead of only 3 GB, this plan will offer 4G data with 2 GB.
Similarly, Jio’s new Rs 949 plan will offer 84 days validity, 2GB 4G data limit, 5G access and free Disney + Hotstar subscription and the new Rs 1049 plan will offer 84 days validity, 2GB 4G, unlimited 5G data and free Sony Live, Zee 5 subscription as well. An offer has been made.
Although these new plans are not different from the existing plans, they are offering benefits to the customers in terms of validity. For example – earlier one had to recharge the Rs 349 plan 13 times in a year. But, after updating the plan, now you have to recharge only 12 times. Apart from that, Jio has also introduced 5G bonus plans; whose prices are 51, 101, and 151; which offers users unlimited 5G data with 1/1.5GB 4G data.
