Abhitah Bachchan, Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Kalki : 2898 AD’ has hit the screens. Released on June 27, the film has taken the box office by storm. This movie has been released in various languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi. In a recent press conference after the release of the film, Kamal Haasan has made a statement about the film and Amitabh Bachchan’s performance in Kalki.
Talking about the film, Kamal Haasan says- ” Earlier we have seen Indian films taking to the global entertainment platform and Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is also in the process. Nag Ashwin has handled the subject of mythology very carefully without any religious overtones. Only the cultures of Japan, China and Greece from across the globe have come close to the Indian heritage of storytelling. Ashwin has picked the stories from it and brought everyone together to make the film with great patience.”
Further, Kamal Haasan has praised Big Bee. He says- “I don’t understand, should this person be called a veteran actor or a new energy actor entering the field. Amitabh Bachchan has acted with such strength in the movie Kalki. It feels like this movie is made for kids. Now don’t ask, can people with gray hair watch this movie, can they enjoy the movie. Because every grown-up among you will be reminded of the child within you while watching the movie. It was a great effort and I am happy to be a part of such a film. This journey will continue like this.” Kamal Haasan has said this.
Meanwhile, the movie Kalki is getting liked by the audience and the audience has started flocking for this movie. On the first day of its release, the film collected 95 crores across India and 65 crores worldwide. Apart from Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Dulquer Salmaan, Mrinal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda also showed glimpses of their performances in this film.
