Kashmir Terror Attack: Ex-Soldier Martyred in Kulgam, Wife & Daughter Injured

Now, fresh information has emerged about another terrorist attack in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which an ex-soldier has been martyred.
Terrorist Attack in Kulgam: What Happened?
A terrorist attack took place in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday, resulting in the death of an ex-soldier, while his wife and daughter were seriously injured. All three were rushed to the hospital, but the ex-soldier succumbed to his injuries before receiving medical treatment.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, police sources confirmed that the deceased ex-soldier, Manzoor Ahmed, was staying with his wife and daughter in Behibagh village in Kulgam, South Kashmir. Suddenly, terrorists opened fire on them.
During the attack:
- Manzoor Ahmed was shot in the stomach, leading to his death.
- His wife and daughter were also hit by bullets in their legs and were seriously injured.
- However, their condition is reported to be stable at present.
Security Forces Launch Search Operation
Following the attack, a joint team of police, paramilitary forces, and the Indian Army immediately reached the scene. The area has been cordoned off, and a search operation is underway to track down the attackers.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and security measures have been intensified in the region to prevent further attacks.
