What Did Khushboo Say?
Actress Khushboo recently interacted with Vicky Lalwani and shared her experience. She said, “Raj Kapoor wanted to launch me with the film Ram Teri Ganga Maili. We even did a photo shoot for it. After seeing those photos, Raj Kapoor said, ‘This is my Ganga.’ The plan was to complete the Gangotri schedule first, but it was snowing at that time. So, they decided to shoot in Kolkata first, where they wanted to show the brothel scene. In this part of the film, the character was already a mother. But, I was not even 14 years old at the time. Rajji said, ‘She is too young. The child won’t look good in her hands.’ That’s why I couldn’t debut with the film,” Khushboo recalled.
