India’s history so far has seen only two elections for the post of President. After the first election of 1952, the election for the post of President was held for the first time. Subsequently, in the post-emergency elections, the election was held in a similar manner due to non-agreement on the post of president. After that, the election for the post of Lok Sabha Speaker will be held directly at this time. It was said that there was a consensus between the NDA and the opposition for the post of Lok Sabha Speaker. However, India Aghadi insisted for the post of Vice President. However, due to the NDA’s refusal to give the post of vice president, India Alliance has given a candidate for the post of president.
