Ranchi: In a major administrative reshuffle, 25 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been transferred in Jharkhand. The Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Official Language has issued a notification detailing these changes.
Key Transfers in Jharkhand IAS Cadre:
- Nitin Madan Kulkarni: Principal Secretary to the Governor has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cooperative Department, Ranchi, until further orders.
- Mastram Meena: Principal Secretary, Planning and Development Department, has been given additional charge as Principal Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Ranchi.
- Sunil Kumar: Principal Secretary, Road Construction Department, has been assigned additional duties as Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, Ranchi, Managing Director, JUSCO, and Managing Director, Ranchi Greater Development Agency.
- Amitabh Kaushal: Fertilizer Supply Secretary has been transferred and appointed as IT Secretary, Ranchi. He will also hold additional charge as Secretary, Commerce Department, Jharkhand.
- Manish Ranjan: Building Construction Secretary has been transferred and appointed as Director, Shri Krishna Public Administration Institute, Ranchi.
Other Notable Transfers:
- Rajesh Kumar Sharma: Drinking Water Secretary has been transferred to the Disaster Management Department.
- Abu Bakar Siddiqui: Agriculture Secretary has been appointed as Secretary of the Forest Department.
- Vipra Bhal: IT Secretary has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Governor.
Additional key transfers include positions within the Finance Department, Urban Development, Labour, Excise, and several other crucial departments. These strategic moves are expected to enhance the governance framework across the state.
Chief Executive Officers and Special Secretaries:
- Sandeep Singh: Chief Executive Officer, JSLPS, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Ranchi Municipal Corporation. He will also hold the additional charge of Vice President, RRDA.
- Amit Prakash: Special Secretary, Labour Department, has been appointed as the Excise Commissioner, Ranchi, and will manage additional duties as Managing Director, Jharkhand State Beverage Corporation Limited.
The reshuffling also includes significant changes in various municipal corporations, including Ranchi and Hazaribagh, and key state projects like the Swarnarekha Project in Jamshedpur.
