What did Mark Zuckerberg say?
Zuckerberg explained that different countries have different laws, and not all of them align with global standards of free speech. He said, “This is what happened in the case of Pakistan. A case was filed against me for blasphemy because of a picture shared on Facebook. I was also found guilty. Freedom of expression is being suppressed in many countries. Some governments believe we should remove content they disapprove of from Facebook, and in some cases, they even consider imprisoning us.”
Mark Zuckerberg further added, “But I have no plans to go to Pakistan, so I’m not worried at all right now.”
