State Bureau, Ranchi: NCP state president and Hussainabad MLA Kamlesh Kumar Singh joined the BJP on Friday. At the state BJP office, party president Babulal Marandi and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, co-incharge of the Jharkhand Assembly elections, inducted him into the party.
Hundreds of NCP workers also joined the BJP along with him. On this occasion, MLA Kamlesh Singh expressed pride in joining the country’s largest party, the BJP. He stated that only the BJP can change the fate and future of Jharkhand.
Singh pledged to ensure the BJP’s victory across the entire Palamu division and said he would work as a dedicated soldier for the party. State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi stated that Kamlesh Singh’s entry would give the BJP new strength in Jharkhand.
Marandi also mentioned that Kamlesh Singh joined the BJP after discussions with the NCP. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma noted that Kamlesh Singh had previously been associated with the BJP and urged him to take everyone along. He confidently stated that the NDA government will be formed with a full majority in Jharkhand this time.
