Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is currently being heavily discussed. This movie broke all the records and grossed 900 crores worldwide. Now in few days this movie will join the club of thousand crores. The film stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Big B has played the role of Ashwatthama in this film. He is currently being appreciated everywhere.
Amitabh Bachchan has been working in the Bollywood industry for the past 55 years. But even today, they have child-like curiosity about every scene and this is something to be learned by today’s generation, said Nag Ashwin, the director of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. This is not just a film for me but I have learned a lot in this entire journey, the director said while interacting with ‘India Today’.
Director Nag Ashwin says about Amitabh Bachchan , “Big B was very curious to know how he would look at 8 feet tall in the film. But, despite being such a big actor, he never interfered in anything. He took everything patiently. He used to wear so much prosthetic make-up, wigs and beards for shoots, but he never complained about anything.”
“When the shooting of the first schedule of the film started, I was completely speechless after seeing one of his stories on the sets. We were shooting late one day. Our team was working hard to complete the shoot as soon as possible. Just then Amitabh Bachchan sir came there…seeing him now, I was going to tell him the reasons why he was late…but, the opposite happened. “Can I just go to a restru (break to freshen up) and come back?” He asked that. I didn’t even know what to say to that I said, ‘Sir you can do whatever you want…you don’t even need to ask me.’ They are really great actors.” Director Nag Ashwin said this.
Meanwhile, talking about the movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, Santosh Narayanan has composed the music for this movie. At the same time, Ashwini Dutt has produced this film under the banner of Vaijayanti Movies.
