Jamshedpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off 11 Vande Bharat trains, including the Tata-Patna route, via remote on September 15. General Manager of South Eastern Railway, Anil Kumar Mishra, arrived at Tatanagar station on Tuesday morning to review the preparations. Speaking to journalists, he provided this information.
The General Manager mentioned that South Eastern Railway has received three Vande Bharat trains: Tata-Patna, Tata-Brahmapur, and Rourkela-Howrah, all of which will pass through Tatanagar. During the inspection, the General Manager gave instructions for alternative arrangements for passengers between September 11 and 15, finalizing the preparations, and other necessary directives. Present at the inspection were the Chief Principal Operating Manager, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Arun J. Rathod, Senior DCM Aditya Chaudhary, and other senior railway officials, including ARM Abhishek Singhal.
Prime Minister to Spend 60 Minutes at Tatanagar Station
On the day of the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend around 60 minutes at Tatanagar station. During this time, he will interact with children from Kendriya Vidyalaya. At 10:30 AM, he will flag off the Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express from platform number 1. Following this, he will address the public from a stage set up in the station’s parking area.
Railway Minister’s OSD Reviews Preparations
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is expected to arrive at Tatanagar station on the evening of September 14. Earlier, around 1:30 PM on Tuesday, his Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Ved Prakash, also reached Tatanagar station. He held discussions with the General Manager, DRM, and senior railway officials regarding the preparations for the Prime Minister’s event. Additionally, officials from the Railway Board have also arrived at Tatanagar station.
