State Bureau, Ranchi: Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha Elections: With the conclusion of the monsoon session in Jharkhand, all political parties are gearing up for the upcoming elections.
According to the current preparations, the elections in the state are expected to be held on schedule. However, there is a strong possibility that elections in Jharkhand may be conducted along with those in Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir. Election Announcement Could Be in September: If this happens, the election announcement could come at any time in September. Otherwise, the announcement will definitely be made in October. All parties have already set programs at the booth level and started searching for candidates.
It is expected that the Assembly will be fully constituted by the winter session. Last time, the government was formed under the leadership of Hemant Soren in December 2019, under the grand alliance of JMM and Congress.
Political Parties Begin Preparations:
Political parties have already started their preparations. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Congress, and RJD alliance is focusing more on the seats they won last time and the seats they lost by a narrow margin.
On the other hand, opposition parties like BJP and AJSU aim to win as many seats as possible to gain power in the state. Both parties have completed their preparations. JD(U) also seems to be making a place in this alliance.
All Parties to Put Their Full Strength:
The competition will become even more interesting as three parties in each alliance will put their full strength. Another organization, the Jharkhandi Bhasha Khatiyani Sangharsh Samiti, will also be trying its luck in this election.
Although the organization did not show much success in the Lok Sabha, they certainly garnered attention wherever they fielded candidates. This party is expected to try its strength in the Assembly elections as well.
