Dhanbad: The Bank More police questioned Mirza Arif Beg, the father of Mirza Nadeem Beg, on Sunday regarding the message sent by Nadeem plotting to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the police did not obtain any concrete information about Nadeem from him. It is still unclear what Nadeem does for a living.
Father Denies Contact
Nadeem’s father stated that he has no connection with his son anymore. He added that it has been over six months since they last met or had any communication.
Nadeem was apprehended by the police in Ajmer on Sunday. According to Arif, Nadeem had visited Dhanbad in June and left thereafter. Previously, he had gone to Bahrain for work but returned within three months. After returning, he started working at a company in Palanpur. Currently, Arif resides in Matkuria with his younger son Masoom and daughter.
Wife Lives Separately
Nadeem’s wife, Muskan, left him long ago and now resides at her parental home in Bengabad, Maheshmunda, in Giridih. The Bank More police also questioned Muskan at her residence. She stated that she has no connection with Nadeem anymore and that they have been in conflict. Muskan had even filed a complaint against Nadeem at the Dhanbad Women’s Police Station. She mentioned that she does not know or care about what Nadeem does now, and they do not communicate over the phone.
Police Probe Rajju Jhadi’s Call Records
To gather more information about Nadeem, the Bank More police detained Rajju Jhadi of Wasseypur, Pandarpala, on Sunday night. However, Rajju also claimed to have no contact with Nadeem. The police reviewed a year’s worth of Rajju’s call records, which showed no communication between him and Nadeem, leading to Rajju’s release.
Message Sent to Mumbai Police
According to the police, Nadeem had sent a message to the Mumbai Police and Traffic Police helpline, claiming there was a threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life. In the message, Nadeem alleged that his company’s owner was conspiring to assassinate the Prime Minister and carry out a train explosion. He also mentioned a person named Rajadiya.
Rajadiya from Ajmer
The police suspect that Rajadiya, mentioned in Nadeem’s message, is likely from Ajmer, Rajasthan. Currently, Nadeem is in the custody of the Mumbai Police.
