To improve the traffic system in Ranchi, the state government has established four new traffic police stations. These include Pandara, Khelgaon, Daily Market, and Doranda traffic police stations.
Ranchi already has four functioning traffic police stations in Lalpur, Gonda, Kotwali, and Jagannathpur. The new stations will provide significant relief to the people.
With this addition, Ranchi now has a total of eight traffic police stations. The Home, Jail, and Disaster Management Department has issued a notification regarding this. Similarly, a new police outpost has been created in the village of Betar under the Chandwa police station in Latehar. Two panchayats, Barwatoli and Ladhup, will come under this outpost.
The Barwatoli panchayat includes the villages of Betar, Rohum, Murma, Belanga, Jamuari, Heslang, Tata, Rud, Barwatoli, and Childiri. The Ladhup panchayat includes the villages of Ladhup, Ara, Kudra, Goli, Dudhimati, Belgara, Pirdag, Senha, Hesla, and Manatu.
Notification Issued for New Stations: The state government has also redefined the jurisdiction of Simdega police station and Muffasil police station. In this, the villages of Sevai and Sansewai from Sevai Panchayat have been transferred from Simdega to Muffasil police station.
Additionally, the villages of Pithra, Rigri, Gulda, Meromaloya, Barkichapar, Jamunakhair, Tumdegi, and Semarbeda from Pithra Panchayat have been linked to Muffasil police station from Simdega.
Villages of Tamhara, Chiksura, Tabhadih, Tamhara, Kamtara, Konsera, and Dadgurda from Tamra Panchayat have been transferred from Muffasil to Simdega police station. The Home, Jail, and Disaster Management Department has issued a notification regarding this as well.
