Shahid Kapoor’s New Action Thriller ‘Deva’: First Poster Revealed
Shahid Kapoor, who has captured the hearts of audiences as ‘Rajeev Mathur’, ‘Aditya Kashyap’, and ‘Kabir Singh’, is all set to return in a new role. The actor will be seen in an action thriller film, and the first poster of the movie has just been released, showcasing his killer look that has fans buzzing.
Known for his roles as the ‘Chocolate Boy’ and ‘Rowdy Hero’ in Bollywood, Shahid’s upcoming film is titled Deva. The audience is eagerly anticipating this project, and the release of the first poster has only heightened their curiosity. The film’s release date, January 31, 2025, has also been revealed.
Shahid Kapoor shared the first poster of Deva on his social media, where he is seen in a striking look—dressed in formal attire, wearing sunglasses, and holding a cigarette. The backdrop features the legendary 90s icon, Amitabh Bachchan, hinting at something explosive in the film’s storyline.
The Marathi rap accompanying the poster has also caught everyone’s attention. With powerful lines like, “Look, your father has come… God is the master of your will… Those who don’t listen will be eaten under the tongue… Don’t teach wisdom at all… God will go home in vain,” the rap titled Marjicha Malik adds intensity to the film’s tone.
Directed by popular Malayalam filmmaker Roshan Andrews and produced by G Studios and Roy Kapur Films, Deva will feature Shahid Kapoor in the role of a police officer. Actress Pooja Hegde will join him, along with notable actors like Kubbra Sait and Pavel Gulati in key roles.
