Actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai a few days ago. Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv Sinha confirmed this to Indian Express.com. Now Shatrughan Sinha himself has informed about his health.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Shatrughan Sinha said, “It was a routine checkup, nothing to worry about. I think I’m a little tired from the excitement and excitement of the past few weeks. But now I am fine and resting.”
Shatrughan Sinha has always been proud of his daughter Sonakshi. Talking about Sonakshi, Shatrughan Sinha said, “She never asked me to launch her in the Bollywood industry as a producer. She never got roles in films using my name and fame. She has done all this on her own. People talk about nepotism. But there are many actors in this industry who have failed. Just like me, my daughter has made a place for herself in this industry. The only difference is that I had no choice then. But she had, she could have easily taken my help, but she didn’t.”
When Shatrughan Sinha was asked when he and Sonakshi will be seen together on screen? Shatrughan Sinha laughed at this and said, “I find it a bit strange. I don’t like the comparison between me and her. I know she is more confident and talented than me. There is a big difference between a father and an actor. I am very proud of what my children have achieved in life. Sonakshi wanted to enter the acting field from a very young age. Sonakshi has done an amazing job in Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Lootera’. Now she acted in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series ‘Heeramandi’ and the accolades she is getting is a matter of pride. I too have wanted her to work with me for a long time.”
Meanwhile, Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi recently got married. On 23 June 2024, Sonakshi married Zaheer Iqbal in a registered marriage.
