Sourav Ganguly Biopic: Rajkummar Rao to Play the ‘Prince of Kolkata’
A biopic on former Indian cricketer and captain Sourav Ganguly, popularly known as the Prince of Kolkata, is in the works. Ganguly himself has confirmed this news.

During an interaction with the media in Bardhaman, West Bengal, on Thursday, Sourav Ganguly revealed that his biopic is in development. He also confirmed that Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao will portray him in the film. However, due to scheduling conflicts, the release of the biopic may take more than a year.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is preparing for the release of his upcoming film “Bhool Chuk Maaf,” in which he stars alongside Vamika Gabbi. Additionally, his film “Malik” is in its final stages and is scheduled for release on June 20, 2025.

Meanwhile, towards the end of the Thursday night event in Bardhaman, reports emerged that Sourav Ganguly’s vehicle met with an accident in Hooghly. However, as per The Times of India, Ganguly was unharmed, and the vehicle only suffered minor damage.
