Mukesh Chhabra is a veteran casting director in Bollywood. He has cast actors for many films so far. But Suniel Shetty has a big role in his success. Mukesh himself has told about this. He revealed that Sunil had helped Mukesh to start his office.
In a podcast on YouTube channel Bharti TV, Mukesh has told how Sunil Shetty helped him. “When I started emerging as a casting director, Sunil Shetty, one of Mumbai’s finest, had a bungalow called 160 in Aram Nagar. At that time I was doing the film ‘Hero’ with his daughter Athiya Shetty. Then he said to me, ‘Why are you working in such a small office, take my bungalow in Aram Nagar.’ I said I was under a lot of pressure. So he said, ‘Don’t worry, just keep up the good work.’ That man does not tell anyone about the good works he does. He gave me such a big bungalow in Aram Nagar. He said, ‘Don’t worry about the rent. You have done so much for my daughter, take this bungalow’,” recalled Mukesh.
Mukesh further said, “I started my work in that bungalow, decorated the new office, created the new logo and inaugurated the office. Many actors like Rajkummar Rao attended this inauguration. I worked with my close friends and built the company. Gradually we became successful and now we have reached a stage where we have offices in Chandigarh, Delhi and London.
